Additional production of potato and shortage of the cold storage capacity of this agro item caused the recent fall of potato prices across the country.

A lawyer was stabbed to death by assailants in the city’s Jatrabari area on Monday night. The victim was identified as Abdullah Al Faruque, 40, a lawyer of Munshiganj District Judge Court.

Rapid Action Batalion (RAB), in a drive on Sunday night, arrested three people along with touchtone valuing taka four crore at Marich Pati village in Nababganj upazila in Dhaka.
