WB MD to arrive tomorrow

World Bank (WB) Managing Director (MD) Ngozi N Okonjo-Iweala arrives Dhaka tomorrow (Tuesday) on a three-day visit to Bangladesh. She will attend the signing ceremony of the landmark agreement on $1.2 billion credit for the Padma Multipurpose Bridge on April 28 at the project site. The WB high official will also be there to see the progress of the rehabilitation work for constructing the country’s largest ever bridge. She will also visit Chittagong Tuesday to attend the foundation laying ceremony of the Asian University for Women and will visit some WB-assisted projects at Savar Wednesday.
