2 drug peddlers arrested along with phensidyl in Munshiganj

Two drug peddlers were arrested along with 89 bottles of phensidyl at Maowa crossing on Dhaka-Maowa highway in Louhajang upazila on Tuesday evening.

The arrestees were identified as Bachchu, 33, son of Razab Ali of Goali Mandra village and Mohammad Shermal, 36, son of Aizuddin at Khoria Malpara village in the upazila.

On secret information, a team of RAB-11 raided a Dhaka bound passenger bus of Gungchil Paribahan and arrested them along the contraband Indian drugs.

Another report from Benapole adds: Benapole port thana police arrested six listed drug peddlers at Talshari village on Monday.

The arrestees are Jamal Uddin, Ibrahim, Anwar Hossain, Dudu Mia, Firoz Ahmed, Matiar Rahman.

On secret information, police raided the area and arrested them. Police said the drug peddlers were involved in selling Phensidyl, wine, ganja and heroin since long.
